Todos tus mandamientos son la verdad (Sal. 119:151).
Antes de dedicarse a Jehová, uno debe asegurarse de cuál es “la buena y la acepta y la perfecta voluntad de Dios” (Rom. 12:1, 2). Esto implica, entre otras cosas, aprender las verdades de la Biblia. Lo que convence a una persona de que los testigos de Jehová enseñan la verdad puede ser distinto de lo que convence a otra. A algunos les convenció leer el nombre de Dios en la Biblia o entender en qué estado se encuentran los muertos (Sal. 83:18; Ecl. 9:5, 10). A otros, ver el amor que hay en el pueblo de Dios (Juan 13:34, 35). Y a otros, darse cuenta de que los cristianos verdaderos no forman parte del mundo, es decir, no participan en las disputas políticas ni en las guerras de ningún país (Isa. 2:4; Juan 6:15; 17:14-16). Por estas y otras razones se despertó en muchos cristianos el amor a Dios. Dedique tiempo a recordar qué lo convenció a usted de que había encontrado la verdad.

All your commandments are truth.—Ps. 119:151.
Everyone who makes a dedication to Jehovah has first to “prove” to himself what is “the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” (Rom. 12:1, 2) In part, that involves learning Bible truth. What convinces one person that Jehovah’s Witnesses teach the truth may differ from what convinces another. Some recall that a turning point came when they read the divine name in the Bible or when they understood what the true condition of the dead is. (Ps. 83:18; Eccl. 9:5, 10) What impressed others was the love among Jehovah’s people. (John 13:34, 35) Still others reasoned on what it means to be no part of the world. They concluded that true Christians cannot share in the political controversies or the wars of any nation. (Isa. 2:4; John 6:15; 17:14-16) For many, these reasonings and others were what kindled their first love for God. Take the time to recall what convinced you of the truth.
