Practiquen el dar, y se les dará (Luc. 6:38).
¿Qué es lo que le da verdadero valor a la vida? Aprovechar nuestra breve existencia en este sistema de cosas para hacer el bien y agradar a Jehová. Hagamos todo lo posible por desarrollar una estrecha relación con Dios, por transmitir valores espirituales a nuestros hijos, por ayudar al prójimo a conocer a Jehová y por forjar amistades duraderas con nuestros hermanos (Gál. 6:10). Todas estas son metas de beneficio permanente y traen bendiciones a quienes las alcanzan. Para describir el valor de hacer el bien, Salomón dijo: “Echa tu pan sobre las aguas; que después de muchos días lo hallarás” (Ecl. 11:1, Reina-Valera, 1960). Y el propio Jehová promete recompensar a quienes hacen el bien a los demás (Pro. 19:17; Heb. 6:10). La Biblia anima a los jóvenes a decidir bien sobre lo que van a hacer con su vida para evitarse disgustos y fracasos después (Ecl. 12:1).

What really makes life worthwhile? We feel true satisfaction if we use our brief time in this system of things to do good and to please Jehovah. We can build up a close relationship with God, we can pass on spiritual values to our children, we can help others to know Jehovah, and we can forge lasting friendships with our brothers and sisters. (Gal. 6:10) All these endeavors have permanent value and bring blessings to those who achieve them. To describe the value of doing good, Solomon said: “Send out your bread upon the surface of the waters, for in the course of many days you will find it again.” (Eccl. 11:1) Furthermore, Jehovah himself promises to reward those who do good toward others. (Prov. 19:17; Heb. 6:10) The Bible urges us to make wise decisions while we are still young regarding how we will use our life. In that way, we will be able to avoid frustration in later years.—Eccl. 12:1.
