En amor fraternal ténganse tierno cariño unos a otros (Rom. 12:10).
El cariño que les tenemos a los hermanos nos impulsa a servir de todo corazón como mayordomos de la bondad inmerecida de Dios. Comprendemos que si Satanás logra que dejemos de ayudarnos unos a otros, nuestra unidad se debilitará (Col. 3:14; 1 Ped. 4:10). La falta de unidad, a su vez, hará que disminuya nuestro entusiasmo en la predicación. Obedecer el mandato de predicar las buenas nuevas y el de servir a nuestros hermanos nos beneficia a todos. Quienes reciben nuestra ayuda se sienten espiritualmente fortalecidos, y nosotros nos sentimos muy felices de poder dársela (Hech. 20:35). La congregación se convierte en un lugar más acogedor cuando cada uno de sus miembros se preocupa por los demás. No olvidemos, asimismo, que el amor con que nos tratamos nos identifica claramente como cristianos verdaderos. Jesús dijo: “En esto todos conocerán que ustedes son mis discípulos, si tienen amor entre sí” (Juan 13:35).

In brotherly love have tender affection for one another.—Rom. 12:10.
Having affection for our brothers impels us to serve wholeheartedly as stewards of God’s undeserved kindness. We realize that if Satan succeeded in holding us back from “ministering to one another,” he would weaken our unity. (Col. 3:14; 1 Pet. 4:10) In turn, a lack of unity would lead to a lack of zeal in the preaching work. Obeying God’s commands to preach the good news and to build up fellow believers brings blessings to all. The ones we help are spiritually strengthened, while we experience the heartfelt joy that only giving can bring. (Acts 20:35) The congregation as a whole grows in warmth as each member takes a loving interest in others. Furthermore, the love and affection that we show for one another clearly identifies us as true Christians. Jesus said: “By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves.”—John 13:35.
