Si ellos me han perseguido a mí, a ustedes también los perseguirán (Juan 15:20).
Jesús dijo que el Diablo era “el gobernante de este mundo” y advirtió a sus discípulos de que ellos serían perseguidos (Juan 12:31). Este mundo, que está controlado por Satanás, odia a los cristianos verdaderos porque sirven a Jehová y son predicadores de justicia (Mat. 24:9; 1 Juan 5:19). La Palabra de Dios advierte: “Su adversario, el Diablo, anda en derredor como león rugiente, procurando devorar a alguien” (1 Ped. 5:8). Nuestra organización, que cuenta con el respaldo de Jehová, ha logrado resistir los ataques del Diablo. Pensemos en lo siguiente. En los pasados cien años, algunos de los dictadores más despiadados de la historia han tratado de acabar con nosotros. Pero han fracasado rotundamente, pues en la actualidad somos ya más de siete millones de Testigos en más de cien mil congregaciones de todo el mundo. ¿Y qué ha pasado con aquellos dictadores que nos persiguieron? Son ellos los que han desaparecido del mapa.

If they have persecuted me, they will persecute you also.—John 15:20.
Jesus referred to the Devil as “the ruler of this world” and warned His disciples that they would be persecuted. (John 12:31) The world, lying in the power of Satan the Devil, hates true Christians because they serve Jehovah and are preachers of righteousness. (Matt. 24:9; 1 John 5:19) God’s Word warns us: “Your adversary, the Devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking to devour someone.” (1 Pet. 5:8) As an organization enjoying the support of Jehovah God, we successfully oppose the Devil. Consider these facts: In the past 100 years, some of the most ferocious dictatorships in history have tried to stamp Jehovah’s Witnesses out of existence. But the number of Witnesses continues to grow and has now reached more than 7,000,000 in over 100,000 congregations throughout the world. The cruel dictatorships that persecuted Jehovah’s people are the ones that have been stamped out of existence!
