Feliz es el hombre que teme a Jehová (Sal. 112:1).
Un temor sano a desagradar a Jehová ayuda a los cristianos verdaderos a resistir el espíritu del mundo de Satanás. Ellos se deleitan en estudiar la Biblia y en obedecer los mandamientos divinos, como es el de predicar por toda la Tierra las buenas nuevas del Reino. Además, se esfuerzan por hacer discípulos de todas las naciones a la vez que advierten a los malvados que se acerca el día de juicio divino (Eze. 3:17, 18; Mat. 28:19, 20). Gracias a que obedecen tales mandamientos, los siervos de Dios ascienden ya a unos siete millones por todo el mundo (Juan 10:16; Rev. 7:9, 14). ¡Y cuántas bendiciones más recibirán cuando Dios lleve a cabo su propósito! A nivel colectivo, quienes abrigan la esperanza de vivir en la Tierra serán protegidos durante “la gran tribulación” y formarán “una nueva tierra” donde “la justicia habrá de morar” (2 Ped. 3:13). La multitud que sobreviva al Armagedón será bendecida aún más cuando sus miembros puedan dar la bienvenida a millones de resucitados.

Happy is the man in fear of Jehovah.—Ps. 112:1.
A wholesome fear of displeasing Jehovah helps true Christians to resist the spirit of Satan’s world. They take delight in studying God’s Word and in obeying his commandments. That includes the command to preach the good news of the Kingdom throughout the earth. They strive to make disciples of people of all nations while warning the wicked of the coming of God’s day of judgment. (Ezek. 3:17, 18; Matt. 28:19, 20) Because of obeying such commands, God’s servants on earth today now number some seven million. (John 10:16; Rev. 7:9, 14) And how blessed they will yet be as God carries out his purpose! As a group, those with an earthly hope will be preserved through the coming “great tribulation” to form “a new earth” in which “righteousness is to dwell.” (2 Pet. 3:13) In time, Armageddon survivors will be blessed even more. They will be on hand to welcome back millions of resurrected ones.
