Mantengan excelente su conducta entre las naciones (1 Ped. 2:12).
En los hogares Betel de todo el mundo, los hermanos trabajan con entusiasmo a pesar de no recibir un sueldo y dedican todo su tiempo y energías a favor de las buenas nuevas. Pero también los hermanos de fuera de Betel trabajan con empeño para mantener a sus familias (Col. 3:23, 24). Por ser tan diligentes, es más difícil que se queden sin empleo, pues sus jefes los valoran mucho y no los quieren perder. Sin embargo, los cristianos hemos de ser especialmente celosos por la casa de Jehová, y lo demostramos de diversas maneras: confiando en Dios, obedeciendo sus instrucciones y cuidando nuestros lugares de reunión. Además, debemos participar de lleno en la predicación del Reino y en la obra de hacer discípulos. Y tengamos la edad que tengamos, debemos esforzarnos por mantener nuestra pureza moral y espiritual. Si así lo hacemos, obtendremos muchos beneficios y se nos seguirá conociendo como un pueblo “celoso de obras excelentes” (Tito 2:14).

Maintain your conduct fine among the nations.—1 Pet. 2:12.
At Bethel homes throughout the world, brothers and sisters work zealously and for no wages, volunteering their time and energy to help publish the good news. Similarly, brothers and sisters who work secularly to care for their families go about their business in a whole-souled way. (Col. 3:23, 24) This often results in improved job security, as employers value their conscientious attitude and do not want to lose them as employees. Our trust in Jehovah, our obedience to his instructions, and the care we take of our meeting places are among ways that we demonstrate zeal for Jehovah’s house. In addition, we want to have as full a share as we can in the Kingdom-preaching and disciple-making work. Whether we are young or old, by our strenuously upholding the clean standards associated with our worship, we shall reap many benefits. And we will continue to be known as a people “zealous for fine works.”—Titus 2:14.
