De veras sí considero también que todas las cosas son pérdida a causa del sobresaliente valor del conocimiento de Cristo Jesús (Fili. 3:8).
Desde temprana edad, Robert se destacó en los estudios. Ya de adolescente, tenía tan buenas notas que hubiera podido acceder a las mejores universidades de su país. Sin embargo, Robert decidió rechazar lo que muchos consideraban una oportunidad única a fin de alcanzar su meta de ser precursor regular (1 Cor. 7:29-31). ¿Por qué se han dedicado de lleno al ministerio estos cristianos? Sobre todo, porque aman a Jehová, pero también porque reconocen el insuperable valor de la educación divina. ¿Se ha preguntado recientemente cómo sería su vida si no hubiera conocido la verdad? Reflexionemos en algunas de las extraordinarias bendiciones que tenemos gracias a la educación que nos da Jehová. De ese modo aumentarán nuestro aprecio por las buenas nuevas y nuestro celo en la predicación.

I do indeed also consider all things to be loss on account of the excelling value of the knowledge of Christ Jesus.—Phil. 3:8.

From an early age, Robert excelled in school. His academic achievements as a high-school student qualified him to attend any of the best universities in his country. But Robert chose to forgo what many viewed as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in order to pursue his goal of serving as a regular pioneer. (1 Cor. 7:29-31) What motivates Christians like Robert to expend themselves in the preaching work? In addition to their love for Jehovah, which is the foremost reason, they appreciate the excelling value of divine education. Have you considered lately what your life might be like if you had not come to a knowledge of the truth? Reflecting on some of the outstanding blessings we enjoy as a result of being taught by Jehovah will help us to maintain our appreciation for the good news and to be zealous in sharing it with others.
