Sacaron [la red barredera llena de peces] sobre la playa y, sentándose, juntaron los excelentes en receptáculos, pero tiraron los que no eran apropiados (Mat. 13:48).
Entre los peces que no son apropiados están muchas de las personas que estudiaban la Biblia con los testigos de Jehová pero dejaron de hacerlo. También están algunos jóvenes que, pese a haberse criado en hogares cristianos, en realidad nunca desearon seguir los pasos de Jesús. No quisieron tomar la decisión de servir a Jehová, o si la tomaron, al poco tiempo dejaron de servirle (Eze. 33:32, 33). No obstante, es imprescindible que todas las personas sinceras dejen que se las junte en los “receptáculos”, o congregaciones, antes del día de juicio final y que permanezcan en esos refugios. ¡Qué alentador es ver que Jehová está atrayendo a tantos peces excelentes! (Juan 6:44.) Así lo demuestran los espectaculares aumentos que ha habido en país tras país. Y todo el mérito es de Jehová Dios.

They hauled [the dragnet full of fish] up onto the beach and, sitting down, they collected the fine ones into vessels, but the unsuitable they threw away.—Matt. 13:48.
As with the unsuitable fish, many who once studied the Bible with Jehovah’s people have stopped studying. Some born to Christian parents have never really wanted to become footstep followers of Jesus. They have been unwilling to make the decision to serve Jehovah or after serving him for a while have ceased doing so. (Ezek. 33:32, 33) It is imperative, though, that all honesthearted ones allow themselves to be gathered into the vessellike congregations before the final day of judgment and to remain in a place of safety. How encouraging, though, it is to see so many suitable ones being drawn by Jehovah! (John 6:44) This has resulted in spectacular increases in country after country. All glory for this growth goes to Jehovah God.
