Sal. 65:2—Ps. 65:2.

Oh Oidor de la oración, aun a ti vendrá gente de toda carne (Sal. 65:2).
Tres hombres se hallaban en la cárcel cuando conocieron la verdad bíblica y llegaron a ser publicadores no bautizados. Debido a un incidente violento, las autoridades les quitaron a todos los reclusos algunos de los beneficios de que disfrutaban. En protesta, estos decidieron no devolver las bandejas del desayuno a la mañana siguiente. Los tres publicadores tenían ante sí un dilema: si tomaban parte en la rebelión, estarían desobedeciendo la orden que Jehová da en Romanos 13:1, y si no participaban, sufrirían las represalias de sus airados compañeros. Como no podían comunicarse entre ellos, rogaron a Dios que les diera sabiduría. Al día siguiente, los tres descubrieron que habían tomado la misma decisión: no aceptar el desayuno. Así, no tuvieron que devolver ninguna bandeja cuando los guardias volvieron a recogerlas. Comprobar que el “Oidor de la oración” estaba cerca de ellos les dio mucha alegría.

O Hearer of prayer, even to you people of all flesh will come.—Ps. 65:2.
Three prison inmates came to a knowledge of Bible truth while incarcerated and became unbaptized publishers. Because of a violent incident, a number of privileges were taken away from all the prisoners in the facility. That sparked a protest. The prisoners decided that after breakfast the next morning, as an act of defiance, they would refuse to return their plates. The three unbaptized publishers were now in a dilemma. If they joined in the revolt, they would be violating Jehovah’s counsel found at Romans 13:1. If they did not join in, they could expect reprisals from angry inmates. Unable to communicate with one another, the three men prayed for wisdom. The following morning, all three found that they had decided on exactly the same solution—they simply would decline breakfast. When the guards came to collect the plates, the three men had none to return. How glad they were that the “Hearer of prayer” was near
