Jamás ha hablado otro hombre así (Juan 7:46).
Además de predecir sucesos futuros, Jesús fue predicador y maestro. Predicó las buenas nuevas y habló del Reino de Dios con una determinación sin igual (Luc. 4:16-21, 43). Y su labor como maestro tampoco tiene comparación. Fue un entusiasta predicador de las buenas nuevas del Reino y contagió ese entusiasmo a sus discípulos. Así comenzó una obra de predicación y enseñanza que ha llegado a todo el mundo y que continúa hasta nuestros días (Mat. 28:18-20; Hech. 5:42). Tan solo el año pasado, unos siete millones de cristianos dedicaron 1.500 millones de horas a predicar y a enseñar la Biblia a la gente. ¿Participa usted de todo corazón en esta obra? Meditar en el ejemplo de Jesús nos ayudará a mantenernos despiertos, ser sabios y estar muy pendientes de lo que Dios está por hacer (1 Tes. 5:2, 6).

In addition to being a prophet, Jesus was a preacher and a teacher. He preached the good news of God’s Kingdom, and no one spoke with greater boldness than he did. (Luke 4:16-21, 43) As a teacher, he had no equal. Jesus was zealous in his efforts to spread the good news, and he inspired his followers with that same zeal for the Kingdom. Thus, he laid the foundation for a global preaching and teaching campaign that is still continuing. (Matt. 28:18-20; Acts 5:42) Last year, some seven million of Christ’s followers spent over 1,500,000,000 hours in preaching the good news of the Kingdom and teaching interested ones Bible truths. Do you have a meaningful share in that work? Meditating on the example of Jesus moves us to “stay awake and keep our senses” as to what God will soon do.—1 Thess. 5:2, 6.
