[Jehová] se tragará a la muerte para siempre, y el Señor Soberano Jehová ciertamente limpiará las lágrimas de todo rostro (Isa. 25:8).
Jesús no solo podía curar a los enfermos y paralíticos; también podía resucitar a los muertos. En una ocasión, cierta niña de 12 años murió, y sus padres quedaron desconsolados. Pero cuando Jesús llegó junto a ella, le dijo: “¡Levántate!”, y la niña volvió a la vida. ¿Puede imaginarse lo que sintieron los padres y los demás presentes? (Mar. 5:38-42.) En el nuevo mundo de Dios, la gente se llenará de “gran éxtasis” cuando vea levantarse a miles de millones de muertos, pues habrá “resurrección así de justos como de injustos” (Hech. 24:15; Juan 5:28, 29). Todos ellos tendrán la oportunidad de comenzar de nuevo y de vivir para siempre. Durante el Milenio, se aplicarán los méritos del sacrificio de Cristo a los súbditos leales del Reino y, poco a poco, se irán borrando los efectos del pecado heredado hasta que la humanidad obediente alcance la perfección (Rom. 8:21).

[Jehovah] will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces.—Isa. 25:8.
Not only could Jesus heal the sick and crippled but he could also raise the dead. As an example, a 12-year-old girl had died, causing great sorrow to her parents. But Jesus said: “Maiden, I say to you, Get up!” And she did! Can you imagine the reaction of the parents and others who were there? (Mark 5:38-42) In God’s new world, there will be “great ecstasy” when billions are resurrected, for “there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Acts 24:15; John 5:28, 29) These will be given a fresh start in life with the prospect of living from that time forward, even forever. During Christ’s Millennial Reign, as the benefits of the ransom sacrifice are applied, obedient subjects of the Kingdom will grow to perfection, eventually becoming completely free from all the effects of Adam’s sin.—Rom. 8:21.
