¡Hasta que expire no quitaré de mí mi integridad! (Job 27:5.)
Imagínese que está mirando los planos de su futura casa. El diseño es práctico y funcional, y usted comienza a pensar en lo bien que vivirá allí su familia. Pero ¿qué debe hacer para que su sueño se haga realidad? Como es lógico, lo que tiene que hacer es construir la casa, mudarse a ella y conservarla en buen estado. Lo mismo sucede con la integridad. Todos sabemos que la integridad es muy importante y que nos beneficia a nosotros y a nuestras familias. Pero no basta con que tengamos el deseo de ser íntegros y leales a Dios; debemos esforzarnos por hacer realidad ese deseo. Construir una casa suele requerir mucho esfuerzo y dinero (Luc. 14:28, 29). Así mismo, construir una vida de integridad exige tiempo y esfuerzo, pero el resultado bien vale la pena.

Until I expire I shall not take away my integrity from myself!—Job 27:5.
Imagine that you are looking over the plans for a house. You marvel at the practicality of the design. You delight in thinking of the ways in which the house could benefit you and your family. Would you not agree, though, that those plans and any thought you might give them would do little good unless you actually built the house, moved in, and then maintained it? Similarly, integrity may impress us as a vital quality that will do us and those we love a great deal of good. But thinking approvingly about integrity benefits us little unless we build and maintain our Christian integrity. In today’s world, literal building projects often prove costly. (Luke 14:28, 29) Likewise, building integrity costs time and effort, yet it is well worth it
