Aquel que me declara justo está cerca. ¿Quién puede contender conmigo? [...] ¡Miren! El Señor Soberano Jehová mismo me ayudará (Isa. 50:8, 9).
Jesús llegó “a estar [al] lado [de su Padre] como un obrero maestro” en la creación del universo físico y del ser humano. Este “obrero maestro” estuvo “alegre delante de [Jehová] todo el tiempo, pues [estuvo] alegre por el terreno productivo de su tierra, y las cosas que fueron el objeto de [su] cariño estuvieron con los hijos de los hombres” (Pro. 8:22-31). La capacitación que recibió el Siervo de Dios, así como el cariño que le tenía a la humanidad, le ayudaron muchísimo cuando vino a la Tierra. A pesar de la persecución que sufrió, para él siempre fue un placer efectuar la voluntad de su Padre (Sal. 40:8; Mat. 26:42; Juan 6:38). Jesús estaba seguro de que, sin importar el tipo de pruebas que enfrentara, contaría con el apoyo y la ayuda de su Padre. Tal como profetizó Isaías, él pudo decir las palabras del texto de hoy.

The One declaring me righteous is near. Who can contend with me? . . . Look! The Sovereign Lord Jehovah himself will help me.—Isa. 50:8, 9.

Jesus “came to be beside [Jehovah] as a master worker” in the creation of the material universe and man. This “master worker” was “glad before [Jehovah] all the time, being glad at the productive land of his earth, and the things [God’s Son] was fond of were with the sons of men.” (Prov. 8:22-31) This training received by the Servant and his fondness for mankind stood him in good stead when he came to earth and faced severe opposition. He continued to delight to do his Father’s will, even in the face of bitter persecution. (Ps. 40:8; Matt. 26:42; John 6:38) Throughout his trials on earth, Jesus was confident of his Father’s approval and support. As was foretold in Isaiah’s prophecy, Jesus was able to say the words of today’s text.
