Los que [se casen] tendrán tribulación en la carne (1 Cor. 7:28).
El mundo corrupto en el que vivimos está obsesionado con el sexo, lo que explica el bombardeo de imágenes sensuales a las que nos vemos sometidos a diario. Los cristianos no podemos minimizar la influencia que tales imágenes pueden tener en cada uno de nosotros. La realidad es que pueden despertar deseos sexuales, aunque uno no lo quiera. ¿Cómo deberían reaccionar los jóvenes ante esa influencia malsana? Algunos se casan a una edad muy temprana, creyendo que eso los protegerá de caer en la inmoralidad sexual, pero al poco tiempo se arrepienten de haber dado ese paso. ¿Por qué? Porque, cuando se acaba la novedad del matrimonio y se enfrentan a la vida diaria, se dan cuenta de que tienen poco en común con su cónyuge. Tales parejas se encaran a un serio problema. En efecto, un matrimonio infeliz es fuente de muchos problemas. Pero los verdaderos cristianos saben que, por difícil que sea la situación, el divorcio sin base bíblica es una solución inaceptable

Those who [marry] will have tribulation in their flesh.—1 Cor. 7:28.
The ungodly world in which we live is obsessed with sex. Every day, waves of sensual images are directed at us. We cannot ignore the effect they can have on us. How should young Christians react to this unwholesome influence, which can arouse sexual desire even against their will? Some have tried to deal with it by marrying at a very early age. In that way, they hope to avoid getting involved in sexual immorality. Before long, though, a number have regretted that decision. Why? Once the novelty of being married has worn off, they have realized that they and their partner have little in common when it comes to everyday matters. Such couples are then faced with a serious challenge. Still, no matter how challenging the situation is, true Christians know that an unscriptural divorce is not an acceptable solution to problems associated with an unhappy union.
