Many of you have expressed your desire to call Donna and Don to express your love and be assured that they both deeply appreciate it with all their hearts. Although brothers are encouraged to show their love and are welcomed to stop by and briefly visit if they so desire, as you can imagine it is simply impossible to take everyone’s calls or visits at this time. I have the fondest memories of Millard Van Ike. We had the privilege of having him in our home in Calexico Ca. when he was seeking medical treatment. The tenderness, time and attention that he gave me as a 9 yr. old boy has never been forgotten. His many, many years of service to Jehovah will always serve as an example to all of us. I anxiously await seeing him again soon!!!

ReplyDelete@Carl. The Sign is on the profile because Jessie filled in his Date of Birth when he signed up for Blogger. IDK if Blogger has the option to turn off the zodiacal symbols from your profile, until they do, they have no control of the that. Returning to the topic at hand, we had Brother Van Ike in our congregation. It was an honor to have been with this great source of inspiration during his last years of life. I can't wait to embrace him and joke with him, he had a lot of love for the younger ones in our congregation, may we all do what we can to imitate his example as he imitated that of Christ.
