Estas son las cosas que dice el Amén (Rev. 3:14).
¿Por qué se le llama “el Amén” a Jesús? La palabra “amén” es una transliteración de un término hebreo que significa “así sea, seguro”. Este término, a su vez, se deriva de una raíz que significa “fiel, fidedigno”. Es interesante notar que esta raíz hebrea también se emplea para referirse a la fidelidad de Jehová (Deu. 7:9; Isa. 49:7). Pero ¿cómo destaca el carácter singular de Jesús el que se le llame “el Amén”? La respuesta la leemos en 2 Corintios 1:19, 20: “El Hijo de Dios, Cristo Jesús [...], no llegó a ser Sí y, no obstante, No, sino que el Sí ha llegado a ser Sí en el caso de él. Porque no importa cuántas sean las promesas de Dios, han llegado a ser Sí mediante él. Por eso también mediante él se dice el ‘Amén’ a Dios, para gloria”. Jesús es “el Amén” de todas las promesas divinas. Su intachable trayectoria en la Tierra y su sacrificio redentor confirmaron la veracidad de las promesas de Jehová e hicieron posible su cumplimiento

These are the things that the Amen says.—Rev. 3:14.

Why is Jesus called “the Amen”? The word rendered “amen” is a transliteration of a Hebrew word that means “so be it,” or “surely.” The Hebrew root word from which it is drawn means to “be faithful” or “trustworthy.” This same word is used to describe Jehovah’s faithfulness. (Deut. 7:9; Isa. 49:7) So in what way is Jesus unique when he is referred to as “the Amen”? Notice how 2 Corinthians 1:19, 20 answers: “The Son of God, Christ Jesus, . . . did not become Yes and yet No, but Yes has become Yes in his case. For no matter how many the promises of God are, they have become Yes by means of him. Therefore also through him is the ‘Amen’ said to God for glory.” Jesus is “the Amen” to all the divine promises. His flawless life course on earth, including his sacrificial death, confirmed and made possible the fulfillment of all the promises of Jehovah God
