Estas cosas siguieron aconteciéndoles como ejemplos, y fueron escritas para amonestación de nosotros a quienes los fines de los sistemas de cosas han llegado (1 Cor. 10:11).
Estamos viviendo en los últimos días de este mundo perverso (2 Tim. 3:1, 13). Satanás, “el dios de este sistema de cosas”, sabe que solo le queda “un corto espacio de tiempo” (2 Cor. 4:4; Rev. 12:12). De modo que hará todo lo posible por entrampar a los cristianos y hacer que desobedezcan a Dios. Él controla este mundo y lo usa para promover sus ideas nocivas. No obstante, el pueblo de Jehová cuenta con un arma mucho más poderosa: “el poder que es más allá de lo normal” (2 Cor. 4:7). Podemos estar seguros de que ese poder nos ayudará a vencer cualquier obstáculo que el Diablo ponga en nuestro camino. Y puesto que sabemos que Jehová da su “espíritu santo a los que le piden”, pidámoslo sin cesar (Luc. 11:13).

These things went on befalling them as examples, and they were written for a warning to us upon whom the ends of the systems of things have arrived.—1 Cor. 10:11.
Today, we are living during the last days of this present wicked system of things. (2 Tim. 3:1, 13) Satan the Devil, “the god of this system of things,” knows that “he has a short period of time” left. (2 Cor. 4:4; Rev. 12:12) He will do all he can to entice Jehovah’s servants to break their integrity as Christians. Satan controls this world, including its propaganda channels. However, Jehovah’s people have something far more powerful—“the power beyond what is normal.” (2 Cor. 4:7) We can rely on this power from God to help us withstand whatever Satan brings against us. Thus, we are urged to pray constantly, confident that Jehovah will “give holy spirit to those asking him.”—Luke
