Dios escogió las cosas débiles del mundo (1 Cor. 1:27).
Si le resulta difícil conducir un estudio bíblico, pídale a Dios que le dé sabiduría y espíritu santo, y busque un compañero de experiencia con el que se sienta seguro. ¿Y cómo podemos superar el temor al fracaso? Debemos recordar que el que alguien acepte la verdad no depende solo del maestro. No es como preparar una comida, cuyo éxito depende de una sola persona: el cocinero. En realidad, en la labor de hacer discípulos hay por lo menos tres partes implicadas. Por un lado está Jehová; él se encarga de lo más importante: atraer a las personas (Juan 6:44). Por otro lado, nosotros y los demás hermanos hacemos todo lo posible por enseñarle la verdad al estudiante y ayudarlo a progresar (2 Tim. 2:15). Y por último, el propio estudiante tiene que poner en práctica lo que aprende (Mat. 7:24-27). Es verdad que nos sentimos desanimados cuando alguien deja de estudiar la Biblia, pues siempre esperamos que los estudiantes decidan servir a Jehová. Pero sabemos que cada cual “rendirá cuenta de sí mismo a Dios” (Rom. 14:12).

God chose the weak things of the world.—1 Cor. 1:27.

If you find it a challenge to conduct a Bible study, pray for God’s spirit to give you wisdom and then team up with a preaching companion who can give you confidence and whose experience may be of help to you. How can we overcome the fear of failure? We do well to remember that making a disciple is not like making a meal in which success or failure depends primarily on one person—the cook. Rather, making a disciple involves at least a three-way partnership. Jehovah does the most important part, drawing the individual to him. (John 6:44) We and others in the congregation do our best to use the art of teaching to help the student progress. (2 Tim. 2:15) And the student needs to act on what he learns. (Matt. 7:24-27) If a person discontinues his Bible study, we may be disappointed. We hope that Bible students make the right choice, but each individual must “render an account for himself to God.”—Rom. 14:12.
