Estoy maravillosamente hecho (Sal. 139:14).
Cuando Dios creó al ser humano, le dio una mente y un cuerpo con todos los órganos necesarios para realizar muy diversas actividades. Están, por ejemplo, los dones divinos del habla y el oído, que en sí mismos son un milagro, así como la capacidad de leer y escribir. Muchas personas poseen estas facultades. Otra extraordinaria obra maestra de ingeniería es el esqueleto humano y su facultad para mantenerse erguido. El diseño y el equilibrio del cuerpo, con sus funciones mecánicas y sus procesos químicos, son realmente sorprendentes. Y las asombrosas conexiones nerviosas, que permiten el funcionamiento de la mente y los sentidos, son muy superiores a cualquier invención científica. De hecho, todos los logros humanos han sido posibles gracias a la mente y a los sentidos con que estamos dotados. Ni el más hábil de los ingenieros hubiera podido construir una herramienta tan hermosa y práctica como los dedos de la mano.

I am wonderfully made.—Ps. 139:14.

When making humans, God gave them a mind, a body with a full set of necessary organs, and the ability and capacity to do work. There is, for example, the miracle involved in the God-given abilities of speaking and listening, as well as those of writing and reading. Many people have those abilities. You also have a wondrous masterpiece of construction—the upright human frame. Why, the design and balance of your body, its mechanical functions and its chemistry, inspire awe. Beyond that, the amazing nerve connections that enable your mind and your senses to function find no parallel in what scientists have achieved. In fact, human achievements are possible only because of the mind and senses with which mankind is endowed. Even the most trained and capable engineer could not have manufactured anything as beautiful and useful as the ten marvelously designed levers—your fingers and thumbs.
