Hermanos, todavía no me considero como si lo hubiera asido; pero [...] prosigo hacia la meta para el premio de la llamada hacia arriba por Dios mediante Cristo Jesús (Fili. 3:13, 14).
Los individuos que han sido ungidos por el espíritu santo reciben un “llamamiento” o “invitación” celestial (Heb. 3:1; nota). Se trata de una invitación personal que les hace Jehová. Ellos no eligen su esperanza; es Jehová quien los sella con su espíritu santo (2 Cor. 1:21, 22; 1 Ped. 1:3, 4). Ellos son muy conscientes de que aunque han recibido una maravillosa invitación, solo se trata de eso, de una invitación. Saben que para obtener el premio deben permanecer fieles hasta la muerte. Los miembros del resto ungido deben hacer todo lo posible por andar “de una manera digna del llamamiento con el cual fueron llamados, con completa humildad” y “con temor y temblor” (Efe. 4:1, 2; Fili. 2:12; 1 Tes. 2:12).

Brothers, I do not yet consider myself as having laid hold on it; but . . . I am pursuing down toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God by means of Christ Jesus.—Phil. 3:13, 14.
Individuals who are anointed by God’s holy spirit receive a heavenly “calling,” or “invitation.” (Heb. 3:1; ftn.) This personal invitation is from God. They do not select this hope for themselves, but Jehovah puts his seal, or holy spirit, upon them. (2 Cor. 1:21, 22; 1 Pet. 1:3, 4) They realize that although they have received a wonderful invitation, it is only that—an invitation. They must remain faithful until death in order to obtain this prize. The anointed remnant must do their utmost to ‘walk worthily of the calling with which they were called, with complete lowliness of mind,’ doing so “with fear and trembling.”—Eph. 4:1, 2; Phil. 2:12; 1 Thess. 2:12.
