El ángel de Jehová está acampando todo en derredor de los que le temen, y los libra (Sal. 34:7).
Los ángeles siempre están alerta para intervenir si esa es la voluntad de Dios. Por ejemplo, rescataron a Sadrac, Mesac, Abednego, Daniel y Pedro. Ahora bien, los ángeles no impidieron las muertes de Esteban y Santiago a manos de sus enemigos (Dan. 3:17, 18, 28; 6:22; Hech. 7:59, 60; 12:1-3, 7, 11). ¿Por qué razón? Porque las circunstancias y las cuestiones implicadas eran diferentes. De igual modo, aunque algunos de los hermanos que estaban en los campos de concentración nazis fueron ejecutados, Jehová hizo que sobreviviera la mayoría de ellos. La Biblia no dice que cada uno de nosotros tenga un ángel de la guarda. Claro está, Jehová puede enviar un ángel a socorrernos, pero quizá decida intervenir de otra manera. Por ejemplo, puede motivar a algún hermano para que nos ayude o consuele. O tal vez nos dé la sabiduría y la fortaleza para sobrellevar alguna “espina en la carne” que nos haga sentir como si nos estuviera abofeteando “un ángel de Satanás” (2 Cor. 12:7-10; 1 Tes. 5:14).

The angel of Jehovah is camping all around those fearing him, and he rescues them.—Ps. 34:7.
Angels are ever alert to intervene according to God’s will. They rescued Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, Daniel, and Peter but did not prevent the deaths of Stephen and James at enemy hands. (Dan. 3:17, 18, 28; 6:22; Acts 7:59, 60; 12:1-3, 7, 11) The circumstances and issues were different. Similarly, some of our brothers in Nazi concentration camps were executed, whereas Jehovah saw to it that most of them survived. The Scriptures do not teach that each person on earth has a guardian angel. Of course, Jehovah could send an angel to assist us, but help may come in a different manner. Fellow Christians may be motivated to provide help and comfort. God may give us the wisdom and inner strength needed to cope with “a thorn in the flesh” that afflicts us as if we were being slapped by “an angel of Satan.”—2 Cor. 12:7-10; 1 Thess. 5:14.
