Definición: La palabra filosofía se deriva de raíces griegas que significan “amor a la sabiduría”. Según se usa el término aquí, la filosofía no está edificada sobre creencia en que Dios exista, sino que trata de dar a la gente una visión unificada del universo y procura hacer que se piense desde una postura de crítica. Emplea principalmente el teorizar más bien que la observación con el propósito de buscar la verdad.
